Celebrating the NoBo Art Center:
Closing Party + Wayfinding Closing Reception
Join us for a celebration of the NoBo Art Center, NoBo Art District’s first gallery space and an important part of our story.
Since opening in 2019, the Art Center has been filled with exhibitions, workshops, performances, events, experiments, conversations, and countless hours of creativity. Most importantly, it has been a space for NoBo artists to exhibit their work, try new ideas, connect with one another, and invite the community in.
As NoBo prepares for our next chapter, we want to take one evening to celebrate this space and say thank you to every artist who has exhibited, performed, taught, gathered, volunteered, and activated the Art Center over the years.
The evening will also celebrate the closing of , featuring Cindy Parker and Cady Faus. The exhibition explores the winding path of artistic discovery and how the materials artists choose can shape both the creative process and the meaning of the finished work.
Through natural and found materials, foraging, experimentation, repetition, and transformation, Cindy and Cady explore history, fragility, impermanence, and our relationship with the natural world. Their work embraces the unexpected ways materials can guide an artist and lead the work somewhere new, making Wayfinding a fitting final exhibition for this chapter of the .

This isn’t goodbye to NoBo galleries. Since opening the Art Center, NoBo has grown to include the Bus Stop Gallery and NoBo on the Corner, and we’re excited to share more soon about a new space, new programming, and new opportunities ahead.
For now, come raise a glass with us to the NoBo Art Center, to Cindy and Cady, and to all the artists and community members who have made this space what it is.
