If you knew Wayne, you know that a room full of people dressed in black, sitting quietly and being serious just wouldn't be his style. Wayne had a way of making life a little more interesting, a lot more entertaining, and so much better for the people lucky enough to know him. So, we're doing things a little differently!
Let's set the tone:
1. First things first: Leave the black at home! 🌺
Dig out those Hawaiian shirts, bright colours, and anything that would make Wayne proud (or give him something to make fun of you for).
2. Good music, great stories, and plenty of laughs. 🎶
We'll be playing some of Wayne's favourite songs and sharing memories of the man who always had a joke, a sarcastic comment, or a perfectly timed one-liner ready to go.
We want to hear the funny stories, the ridiculous adventures, the moments that made you shake your head, and the memories you'll carry forever. Nothing is too silly to share!
3. And please, CLAP! 👏
If someone gets up to share a story or say a few words, give them a round of applause! Laugh, cheer, and make some noise. We're celebrating Wayne, after all!

We will absolutely have an open mic for anyone who feels inspired to share something on the day, but we'd love to get an idea of who is planning to speak ahead of time so we can make sure everyone has a chance to share.

There will be tears, we're sure. But we hope there will be even more laughter, stories, music, and moments that remind us just how lucky we were to have him. Let's fill the room with colour, laughter, and love, and give Wayne the send-off celebration he deserves. 🎉
