Celebrating Louise HayMany of us have become very good at caring for others while quietly leaving ourselves out of that care.
We may offer patience, encouragement and understanding to the people we love, yet speak to ourselves in ways we would never speak to someone else. We may also carry old messages about who we should be, what we deserve and whether our own needs matter.
October 8 would have been Louise Hay’s 100th birthday. To honour her life and work, I’m inviting you to join me for a gentle in-person evening exploring the heart of her teachings.
Our main focus will be Louise’s ways to love yourself. Together, we’ll notice how we learned to relate to ourselves, why self-kindness can sometimes feel difficult and what it might look like to become a more supportive presence in our own lives.
This isn’t about fixing yourself, forcing positive thoughts or giving yourself another list to get right. It’s an invitation to begin where you are, with curiosity and compassion.
We’ll also touch lightly on mirror work as one small part of Louise’s approach. You’ll be welcome to participate in whatever way feels right for you, without pressure to look into a mirror or repeat words you don’t believe.
Whether Louise’s work is new to you, you’d like to reconnect with it or you simply feel ready for a kinder relationship with yourself, you’re warmly invited.
