Refreshments will be provided, with an opportunity for networking.

Further information

Lord Howarth was the founding Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Arts, Health and Wellbeing from 2014- 2024 and the founding Chair of the NCCH from 2020 to 2024. The NCCH advances good practice and research, informs policy and promotes collaboration, helping foster the conditions for creative health to be integral to health and social care and wider systems.

King's College London was a research lead with the APPG in the two-year inquiry 2015-2017: Creative Health: the Arts for Health and Wellbeing. The launch of the Creative Health Review in 2023 was hosted by King's College London at Science Gallery London.

Creativity and Wellbeing Week takes place from the 18th – 24th May 2026 and is an amazing platform to champion and celebrate creative health across the country. The festival is a partnership between London Arts and Health and the Culture, Health & Wellbeing Alliance. This year the festival theme is “Critical Hope” (for acute times).

This year Creativity and Wellbeing Week has partnered with the Big Issue to co-produce a special edition all themed around Creative Health. We will have copies available to purchase at the event.
