Indoors and outdoors at the Avon-Washington Township Public Library.
Celebrate Avon's past, present, and future at the Avon-Washington Township Public Library! This is a free, family-friendly festival held annually at AWPL. There is no entry fee and tickets are not needed. We will have lots of fun planned for the whole family! Walk the Pioneer Path inside the new Huron Hall and learn about beekeeping, rosemaling, and spinning yarn. Slide down the giant inflatable slide, check out the petting zoo, and enjoy table top games, putt-putt, and archery! You won't want to miss the Candy Drop, sponsored by Hendricks Power Cooperative, which will be on the west side of the building behind the barricade. Browse historical displays inside the main concourse of the library and an affordable lunch will be available for purchase inside the children's programming rooms.
Mark your calendars for September 26th and bring the family for a festive day at the library!
We will ring the bell to kick off the festivities at 11 a.m.!
