Join us for a celebration of Samhain! This event is OPEN & FREE FOR ALL
No experience, membership, or movement required.
We will gather in community to meet each other, share food and stories, sing and maybe dance a little, learn tarot, and most importantly celebrate this sacred time of year TOGETHER.
We will have potluck, everyone is encouraged to bring something to eat/ share with the group ( please be mindful if you have food allergies)
We will also have our friend & soul sister Kaylee sharing her wisdom about tarot and we want to encourage everyone to bring their own decks to play around with! We will also have decks you can borrow. Wear your witchy attire, our good friend Star will be there to take photos!
Our intention for the event is for all of us to come together, we understand sometimes the idea of doing yoga in a room with people you don’t know can be intimidating. We’d like to try and support you and remove that hurdle by offering a night of just fun, food, and community.
Often times people think spooky season ends on Halloween but in pagan/ Celtic traditions the veil continues to thin into November. In Irish folklore the month of November is called “mi na Samhna” which translates to month of Samhain. In Celtic folklore the veil is thin all of November and into the darker months meaning we are more connected to the spirit world. This is a time to honor our Ancestors, our spirit guides, and each other. This sacred space of going into the darker months from autumn to winter has been celebrated for years through fires, rituals, singing and dance, food, divination, and connecting to nature.
