The September 18, 2026, Ceilidh at the Irish Cultural Centre, 582 North River Road, Charlottetown showcases the award-winning Island folk music group Fiddlers’ Sons, featuring Eddy Quinn, John B. Webster joined by Keelin Wedge and Fiona MacCorquodale. Step dancer Janelle Banks will also perform showcasing her amazing step dancing talent.

Eddy, the lead vocalist, also plays guitar and Bodhran. He has released two solo albums for which he has received four PEI Music Awards. In 2017 the Fiddlers’ Sons marked the anniversary of twenty years in the music business with the release of a compilation album of their most requested songs. The album is titled “Fiddlers' Sons: The Best of Twenty Years” contains 22 selections that explore Island life and its people.

John B. Webster is the group’s lead guitarist and back up vocalist. He grew up on the Station Road in Cardigan. Webster’s father, Jackie, was a fiddle player and his grandfather, Jack, had a band called “Jack Webster’s Orchestra” which played all over King’s County. Webster met Eddy Quinn at guitar lessons in Lorne Valley and the rest is history. In addition to Webster’s singing and playing he has written a number of songs on the five CD’s Fiddlers' Sons has released over the years.

Keelin Wedge, an award-winning recording artist and multi-instrumentalist, is also gifted with an amazing voice. Audiences are wowed by the power of Keelin's beautiful voice and fiddle playing.

Fiona MacCorquodale is a local musician who has been playing traditional fiddle music at ceilidhs and other events across the Island for over a decade. MacCorquodale will be sharing some lively tunes and accompanying the folk songs in the Fiddlers' Sons repertoire.
Janelle Banks is a champion step dancer with over 20 years of experience. She has taken part in numerous dance competitions across Canada and has won many awards including the National Dance Competition. You will find it hard to resist tapping and clapping along with Banks during her energetic performance.

The event includes a 50/50 draw and complimentary “Tea and Treats” at intermission. The Hall is airconditioned, licensed and accessible. Doors open at 6:30. The show starts at 7:30. Tickets are available at Locarius or at the door. $20 adults and children (under 12) are $5.
