What if your weekend plans included good coffee, great books, and discovering a few local favorites along the way?Join us Saturday, November 7 & Sunday, November 8 for the Cedar Rapids Coffee & Chapter Crawl! We're bringing together local coffee shops, bookstores, and community spaces for a weekend celebrating reading, shopping local, and slowing down a little.
Here's how it works:
📖 Grab a book. Buy one locally or check one out from the library.
☕ Visit participating locations and purchase a drink or treat.
📚 Read a chapter (or about 25–30 pages) at each stop.
❤️ Repeat wherever the weekend takes you!
Explore all the stops or just a few. Bring a friend or enjoy a solo reading adventure. There's no checklist to complete, no race to win, and no pressure - just a good excuse to get out to support local coffee shops, discover something new, and spend a little time with a book.
Six local stops. One book-loving community.
*Craft’d, featuring Swamp Fox Bookstore pop-up
*Feedwell Kitchen & Bakery
*Groundswell Cafe, featuring Sisters Books and Nooks pop-up
*HEA Book Boutique
*Horizons Cafe at Cedar Rapids Public Library
*I’ll Meet You There
We also have commemorative Coffee & Chapter Crawl mugs available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the Cedar Rapids Public Library Foundation! ☕📚Pre-order your mug at the following link: https://square.link/u/Hb5fh9gw
Then let’s come together and end the crawl with Cedar Rapids Silent Book Club’s monthly gathering to round out the weekend with fellow readers. (2pm @ Craft’d, all are welcome!)
Save the dates, pick your next great read, and get ready to turn a few pages around Cedar Rapids.
Coffee. Chapters. Community. See you on the crawl!
