About this Event
Join CCMF Alberta for International Men’s Day as we explore men’s mental health, stigma, shame, and pathways to support.
Hear from Lorne of the Calgary Construction Association’s Tailgate Toolkit program about addressing mental health and addiction stigma in the construction industry and encouraging men to seek help.
Harald Bettger will explore the impact of shame on men’s lives, relationships, and emotional well-being, offering insights into how men can better understand and manage shame to build resilience and regain a sense of control.
We will also hear from Kristopher Marks, founder of VIV Mental Health, who will share his perspective on men’s mental health and the importance of accessible support.
The event will also feature catering from The Smokehouse and presentations from CCMF Alberta’s program leaders, highlighting the resources and services available to support men and families in our community.
Join us for an evening of meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and connection as we recognize International Men’s Day and work toward healthier men, healthier families, and healthier communities. For those of you unable to attend in person this event will also be streamed remotely!
