About this Event
GCSE English Literature Agreement Trial 2026
This event will provide an opportunity for teachers to revisit the requirements of each qualification and practice applying the marking criteria for each unit to live samples of work at different levels and across a range of disciplines. We will use marked exemplars of English Literature coursework. Senior examining/moderating team will be available generate discussion and give advice.
Attendance is strongly recommended for centres adjusted in Summer 2026 and for teachers who will be marking coursework/controlled assessment for the first time.

Places are available on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Registration for this event will open on 1st October at 08.30am and close approximately 2/3 days prior to the event. Please click on the ‘Register’ button on the right of this page.
In the event of it cancelled, CCEA will inform only those who have communicated their intention to attend. It is therefore essential that you advise CCEA of your intention to attend.
Cost:
It is free to attend this event. Unfortunately, teacher release is not available.
Lunch is not provided so it is advisable to bring your own.
Travel and car parking will NOT be reimbursed by CCEA.
