8:00am – 8:45am Hot Buffet Breakfast and Networking
At our November 26th in-person session presenters will take a wide public/private sector perspective on vaccine coverage. We will also take a closer look at the impact of Lyme disease where there is no vaccine currently available. Dr. Mark Loeb, MD, MSc, FRCPC, Professor, Pathology & Molecular Medicine, McMaster University, will explore the impact of Lyme disease on employee health, day-to-day functioning, absenteeism, productivity, and potential disability. Dr. Loeb will also discuss the physical, mental health, and cognitive consequences of Lyme disease, the importance of early recognition and prevention, as well as insights from his ongoing longitudinal outcomes research in Canada.
Ghada Abdul-Razaq, a practising pharmacist at Sobeys, will examine coverage and reimbursement of vaccines at the Ph*rm*cy counter. She will explore the limitations of public and private vaccine coverage and the challenges this presents at the Ph*rm*cy counter, the role of Ph*rm*cy in vaccine administration, and variations in Ph*rm*cy administration limitations across the country.
Pavithra Ravi, AVP, Ph*rm*cy Strategy and Pharmaceutical Relationships at Manulife will speak to trends in vaccine coverage within group plans. She will explore the business case for vaccines, including the role of vaccines in maintaining a healthy workforce and the prevention of absence and disability.
Advisors, including Abigail O’Neill, VP, Strategic Initiatives at Mosey and Mosey will engage in a dialogue about trends in vaccine coverage and how plan sponsors are responding.
A panel discussion with presenters will follow where attendees will have a chance to ask questions directly to presenters.
Please join our presenters, panelists and your colleagues to take away insights you can share with your clients, and where you can earn CE credits if you are life licensed.
