Love. Jealousy. Revenge. And one of the most gorgeous melodies ever written.Cavalleria Rusticana is a musical tale full of fire and heartbreak: a hot-blooded drama set in a sun-baked Sicilian village on Easter morning. Turiddu, a young soldier, has come home to find the woman he loved married to another man. From there, the story spirals into a web of intrigue and betrayal. There’s no slow build, just 90 minutes of musical drama driven by a full orchestra, chorus, and professional soloists singing the leading roles. You may recognize the famous Intermezzo, an orchestral interlude that has soundtracked countless films.
You don’t need to know opera. You don’t need to dress up. Come in jeans, come straight from work, come as you are for an evening of music, romance, and a story that twists and turns all the way to the finish.
