About this Event
It's Sunday. Your week is creeping in. There are puppies in Toronto who would like a word.
Welcome to Cavalier King Charles Puppy Yoga by Yoga Kawa in Toronto, designed for the hour of Sunday when most people start losing the day to a slow doom-scroll.
Here's the case for this class. By Sunday afternoon, the weekend has done most of its work and the week ahead has started doing its own. Your brain starts pre-rehearsing Monday meetings. Your phone gets heavier. The day you were supposed to spend on yourself somehow ends with you wondering where it went. This is the hour that fixes that. You roll out a mat, the Cavalier puppies tumble in (gently, in their case), and within ninety seconds Monday is somewhere else entirely.
Here's how the hour breaks down:
- 35 minutes of easy, beginner-friendly yoga with Cavalier puppies as your tiny royal co-teachers
- 20 minutes of pure cuddle time, kisses included, no extra charge
- 5 minutes of sharing circle to soak it all in before heading back into the world
Why people keep coming back
Puppy yoga in Toronto does something a regular yoga class can't. The puppies wander, snuggle, and tumble around the room, and your nervous system just… exhales. Studies (and frankly, common sense) show that time with puppies lowers stress, lifts mood, and makes everything feel a little more manageable. You'll move your body, meet good humans, and remember what it feels like to laugh on a yoga mat.
A note on Cavalier King Charles puppies
Cavaliers are the calmest puppies in our entire lineup, and they come by it honestly. The breed was the favorite of King Charles II of England, who reportedly brought his everywhere, including (according to legend) into council meetings of state. Centuries later, the puppies still want exactly that: to be near people, all the time. Big, soulful eyes. Silky ears that flop with every step. An unhurried sweetness that's genuinely rare in puppies this small. Expect them to curl up beside you rather than zoom around the room. This is the snuggliest class on our schedule.
A few good-to-knows
Kids ages 5 and up are welcome. Anyone under 18 needs to come with a parent or guardian, and grown-ups are responsible for helping their little ones move gently and handle the puppies with care. The puppies are small, the humans are kind, and the vibe is very much "everyone gets a turn."
Mats provided. No experience needed. Just show up ready to spend your Sunday with some very small, very affectionate dogs who have absolutely no intention of leaving your side.
