About this Event
The Cauldron of Grief ritual at Jupiter Artland, presented alongside Tai Shani’s exhibition M.I.A.S.M.A., will offer a shared space to honour loss, explore grief and reflect on love and resistance through ancient Celtic-inspired ritual, collective mourning and connection with the natural world.
Guided by the lunar calendar and the symbolism of ancient trees, participants will be invited to bring a ribbon, cloth or personal artefact to honour a tree and take part in an oblation using ionised water, oak, shells, stones and sticks, exploring the relationship between grief, bodily energy and the vibrations of trees, with a preparation sheet provided in advance.
This event is free but Jupiter Artland tickets for the park must be bought on arrival if you are not a member of Jupiter Artland. Please arrive early to enjoy the park & artworks, followed by the free event at 2pm.
