A Sunday morning club for people who love cats, want to get their steps in, and wouldn't mind making a few new friends along the way.
Every Sunday, we take you on a neighbourhood cat hunt where you can meet around 10 indie cats, learn their names and quirky personalities, offer them some love (on their terms!), and discover what it really means to care for a cat.
Think of it as being a pet parent for an hour, without having to be one just yet.
Along the way, you'll learn the dos and don'ts of cat care, meet fellow cat lovers, and take home a little photographic memory of your Sunday.
And who knows? Maybe one Sunday, you'll meet a cat who makes you think seriously about adoption.
But even if you don't, you'll have made a few furry friends, found your people, and started your Sunday with a little more joy.
The Experience - What we will do?
9.00 am: Be at the meeting point - Eros Cinema, Churchgate
9.05 am: House Rules Discussion :)
9.07 am: The walk starts!!
- Spot Your Indie Neighbours: Participants explore the route in small groups. Spot a cat, identify it from the passport, and tick it off. Bonus points for spotting a cat not on the map. (Take a picture and share with us at the end of the walk)
- Cat Parent for an Hour: Learn how to approach community cats, read their body language, and offer a little catnip enrichment/ wet food to cats that are comfortable participating.
- Purr trait: A candid photo with a willing neighbourhood cat becomes a printed keepsake
10.30 am: We will finish with a Coffee at a local cafe in Kala Ghoda :)
