About this Event
The Cathedral Concert Series is proud to present the University of Notre Dame Men’s Glee Club, under the direction of Daniel Stowe, as part of their 2026 Mississippi Valley-Gulf Coast Fall Tour.
Founded in 1915, the Notre Dame Glee Club is one of the nation’s oldest and most distinguished collegiate men’s choruses, with more than a century of performances at home and around the world. The ensemble has toured extensively throughout the United States and internationally, performing in more than 40 states and 20 countries across Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Its long tradition of musical excellence has made it a celebrated ambassador for the University of Notre Dame and for the art of choral singing.
This wide-ranging program showcases the remarkable versatility of the men’s voice, featuring sacred music, German Lieder, songs from Africa, India, and the Caribbean, barbershop arrangements of Southern classics, traditional shanties, and beloved songs of Notre Dame. Under the direction of Daniel Stowe, who has led the ensemble since 1993, the Glee Club brings together the artistry of classical choral music with the energy, warmth, and exuberance of musical traditions from around the world. This free concert promises an unforgettable evening of exceptional a cappella singing, spirited performances, and music that celebrates the joy of singing together.
