Catch-All Dish Pottery Class - Handbuilding Ceramics Workshop

Join us at Two Faced Ceramics on Melrose Ave in West Hollywood for a fun, beginner-friendly pottery class! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create your very own ceramic catch-all dish while learning introductory handbuilding techniques. No experience is needed, just bring your curiosity and creativity! Perfect for a creative date night, outing with friends, or a relaxing solo experience.

This class focuses on handbuilding pottery and does not include wheel throwing or glazing. Participants will create their ceramic pieces during class, and our studio team will glaze and fire each finished piece after the workshop.

Little Hands Are Welcome!
Children ages 3–10 are invited to join our classes with the purchase of a Children’s Ticket. Please note:

• Every Children’s Ticket must be with an accompanying Adult Ticket.
• The adult must remain present throughout the entire class.
• Children arriving without an adult will not be admitted.

This policy helps us ensure a safe, fun, and supportive experience for all participants.

• Craft your own ceramic catch-all dish with guidance from our instructors
• Learn introductory pottery and handbuilding techniques suitable for beginners
• Select one solid-color glaze for your finished piece from six available options: matte white, matte dark aqua, green, blue, opal, or pink.
• Glazing is completed by our studio team after class. Participants will not paint, glaze, or decorate their pieces with glaze during the workshop.
• Finished pieces will be glazed, fired, and available for pickup approximately 4–6 weeks after class.

Materials & Attire

• All pottery materials and aprons provided
• Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dusty
• Bring a sketchbook or inspiration ideas if you’d like

Please arrive 15 minutes early and allow extra time to find street parking, which can be limited at this location.
