Join us at NOLA Cat Lounge for a truly unique Dream Activation & Sound Bath experience guided by Rachel Blum of SurprisinglySimple.
This isn't your ordinary sound bath! Our resident rescue cats will be free to roam throughout the experience, bringing their natural curiosity, playfulness, and calming presence to an evening dedicated to relaxation, reflection, and dreaming.
Whether you're seeking clarity, inspiration, emotional renewal, or simply a peaceful escape from the everyday hustle, this experience offers a beautiful opportunity to reconnect with yourself.
🌙 What to Expect
Your evening begins with an opening circle and an introduction to dream work and intentional manifestation.
You'll then be invited to settle into a comfortable position, either seated or reclining on your own yoga mat, as Rachel guides you through:
✨ Guided Meditation: Quiet your mind and create space for your dreams and intentions.
💜 Live Vocal Sound Bath: Experience layers of soothing vocal harmonies created by Rachel using her voice and loop station.
🌙 Dream Activation: Explore your personal dreams, goals, and visions through reflection and intention-setting.
🐾 A Little Feline Magic: Our resident rescue cats will share the space, perhaps curling up beside you, wandering across your mat, or simply enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
📝 Dream Journaling: Take time to write down your dreams and intentions, with an opportunity to contribute to a shared dream box.
The experience concludes with a closing circle and an optional opportunity to share your reflections with the group.
No previous experience is necessary! Just bring an open heart, an open mind, and a willingness to explore.
🐈 A Special Experience With Our Rescue Cats
Unlike a traditional sound bath, this event takes place right alongside the resident cats of NOLA Cat Lounge!
Cats naturally embody curiosity, playfulness, and living in the present moment, qualities that can inspire us as we explore our own dreams.
Our cats will be free to wander throughout the session. They may cuddle, walk across your mat, settle into your lap, or choose to observe from a distance.
We ask all participants to respect their boundaries. Please do not grab, restrain, or engage in rough play with the cats.
Please note: If you have cat allergies or sensitivities to cat fur, this experience may not be suitable for you.
🎒 What to Bring
- Your dreams, visions, goals, and ambitions!
- A journal or notebook
- A pen or pencil
- Your own yoga mat if you wish to recline
- A water bottle or other beverage with a secure lid
All beverages must have lids. Open food and drink containers are not permitted.

🚪 7:00 PM: Doors open and guest check-in begins
⏰ 7:15 PM: Doors close promptly and the ceremony begins
Please arrive early enough to check in and get comfortably settled before 7:15 PM. To preserve the peaceful experience for everyone, late entry will not be permitted once the ceremony begins.

💜 Meet Your Guide: Rachel Blum
Rachel Blum is a singer-songwriter, meditation facilitator, and co-founder of the Atlanta-based musical duo SurprisinglySimple.
With over a decade of experience facilitating meditation and a background in neuroscience-based mindfulness, Rachel combines guided meditation, live vocal harmonies, and intentional reflection to create immersive experiences.
She has shared her Dream Activation & Sound Bath workshops across multiple cities and countries, helping participants explore their dreams, reconnect with their inner vision, and discover new inspiration.
Her approach brings together music, mindfulness, and heartfelt connection in an experience designed to leave participants feeling grounded, inspired, and renewed.
