A lovely autumnal walk through woodland and open countryside, with a visit to the memorial of David Stirling (founder of SAS). Gorgeous scenery and interesting local history.
Walking is mainly on paths and tracks with some road walking and a few short ascents. There are stiles as well as muddy areas.
Sturdy boots and weatherproof clothing are recommended. Gaiters and walking poles may also be useful.
