Zephyrus Early Music Vocal Ensemble continues its 32nd season with “Carols by Candlelight,” a concert of music for the Christmas season sung in candlelit ambiance. The program features carols both old and new, from 14th-century plainchant to Renaissance masterworks by Michael Praetorius, Clemens non Papa, and Robert Parsons to modern settings by John Tavener, Elizabeth Poston, Bob Chilcott, and Fredrik Sixten. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, and $5 for students and are available on our website www.zephyrus-va.org and at the door. You must select a date to purchase a ticket, but tickets for either date will be honored at both concerts.
