Under the Radar magazine writes that her music “brings forth an abiding sense of warmth and welcome.” Following three acclaimed records — Dreaming as I Do (2015), Home on the River (2018) and Gently as I Go (2023) — Cotter released the LP A Quiet Song of Hope in June 2026, with another full-length The Answer arriving late 2026.In 2025 she crisscrossed the US, toured Germany for two months, served as artist-in-residence at the World Expo in Osaka, Japan, and traveled Italy on an “End of War Peace Tour” with her WWII-era Gibson banner guitar marking the 80th anniversary of WWII’s end. Cotter won the Maine Songwriters Association Contest and was a finalist at Freshgrass and Rocky Mountain Folk Fest. She has been on the road since 2015 performing across 46 states and 19 countries.
