Disclaimer: Age as of May 1, 2027. Competing in the state pageant provides an exciting opportunity to advance to nationals in 2027, allowing you to represent our state on a national level and showcase your dedication, talent, and passion for your platform.
Appointed titles: This is a state level pageant. Each contestant will be pre-awarded an appointed title of their city/county of choosing. This will come with a personalized sash, with their title and name on it. This is mandatory to have, as this is the title contestant will represent for their opportunity as Miss Carolina. The appointed title fee is 50.00 and must be paid to order your title and hold your spot in line up. . Please allow 6-8 weeks for us to receive your sash.
Budgeting: The entry fee for the state pageant is 300.00 plus the appointed title fee. The appointed fee must be paid to hold a spot and the final balance is due no later than August 31, 2025. You will not receive your sash or be placed into line up without the Fifty-dollar deposit.
Entry fee for 0-2 years is 200.00 plus the appointed title fee. The fee must be paid to hold the spot and final balances are due no later than August 31, 2025.
Scholarship fee: Each contestant will be required to bring a scholarship fee of 100.00 to registration with them this MUST be in cash, and in an envelope labeled with your contestant's name and division. Contestants will receive their monetary winnings, half on the first day of the queen's trip, and half on the final day of next year's pageant, ONLY if they have completed the terms of their contractual obligations.
Gifts: Contestants must bring two $10.00 gift cards with them to registration. One will be given to the incoming queen and one to the outgoing queen.
Required Competitions (Included in Pricing)
Introduction: Onstage introduction is the basis behind Exquisite Royalty’s vision, for allowing young women to grow in their voices and learn to use them to promote themselves in light.
Outfit of Choice: Your outfit should be a bold reflection of your personal journey—your growth, your strength, and your passion. Show us how you’ve risen through challenges, how you push forward with purpose, and how your story makes you shine.
Formal: This is the main event of the pageant where the contestant will showcase their beauty. please refer to our rules located on the first tab of the contestant page on the website.
Onstage question: This is the final mandatory event. It will occur after contestant line up in beauty. Each contest will draw a fishbowl question that has been pre provided to the contestants.
Also included in the entry price are side awards:
Prettiest eyes, prettiest hair, prettiest smile, best dressed, Regal Royalty (volunteer service) Contestant T-shirt, and Contestant gifts.

All optional competitions are 25.00 each or compete in all optionals for $150.00.
People's Choice:
People's choice will be a dollar a vote, payments should be sent as friends and family to @heather-roper-11 with the contestant's name as the memo. You may also bring cash into the pageant. The winner will receive gifts, a crown, sash, and fees off of nationals.
Hostess: We award a contestant who brings the most audience with them to watch the pageant. The winner will receive gifts, a crown, a sash, multiple gift certificates and more.
Photography: To be announced at a later date.
Discounts:
Sibling/mommy and me discount: $50.00 off each contestant.
Referral Discount: $20.00 off for each new contestant who signs up using you as a referral.
Buddy Discount: $50.00 off both parties if you both sign up on the same day together. Does not count if you do not both sign up during the same day.
Only one discount per contestant can be used excluding Referrals or buddies. We do not bundle new and sibling discounts.
Prize Package:
Our prize package continues to grow yearly as sponsors help contribute, we are not responsible if sponsors do not fulfill their awards.

Before entering note all royalty MUST be at the pageant to help run the pageant and give up their title the following year.
Schedule: Friday evening 7:00 pm early check-in for contestants. You will be given time slots in your final email for when you should plan to be there for early check-in and for optional interviews. Please do not come outside of your assigned time.
Saturday: Introduction/OOC and ALL optional competitions.
Saturday evening: Contestant Party-Theme to be announced in the coming weeks
