About this Event
Join us for a Beach Clean & Beachwatch litter survey at Carnlough Beach on Tuesday 22nd September at 11:00AM!
This event will be led by Claire from the Marine Conservation Society, and is a great opportunity to help protect our coastline, collect valuable litter data, and meet other people who care about the marine environment.
📍 Meeting Point: On the beach, opposite St John the Evangelist Church
What3Words: ///ribs.comforted.took
Litter pickers and gloves will be provided - just bring yourself and plenty of enthusiasm!
As this is an outdoor event, please check the weather forecast beforehand and wear suitable clothing and sturdy footwear for beach terrain. We also recommend bringing appropriate UV protection such as sunscreen, hats, and water.
Toilets are available in the car park opposite the North end of Carnlough Harbour.
Children are very welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
Whether you can stay for the full event or just lend a hand for a while, every piece of litter collected makes a difference. Everyone is welcome! We hope to "sea" you there! 🌊
