About this Event
On Friday, March 5th, at Carnegie Music Hall, Maestra Alyssa Wang (graduate of the CMU School of Music in 2018) returns to her alma mater to conduct the Philharmonic in a program featuring 2 romantic warhorses. Johannes Brahms’ Violin Concerto will feature violinist Andrew Gray, recent graduate of the School of Music and winner of the 2026 Philharmonic Soloist Competition (graduate division). The program will end with the storms and scenery of Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6 (“Pastoral”).
