Carmel-by-the-Sea's annual Halloween Parade takes place on Friday, October 30, 2026, part of the city's celebration of its incorporation on Halloween 1916 (the City's 110th birthday celebration follows on Saturday, October 31).Floats, performers, city dignitaries, costumed kids and dogs, residents and visitors parade through downtown along Ocean Avenue. The parade usually stages near Mission Street and Sixth Avenue, heads down Junipero Street and onto Ocean Avenue toward Monte Verde Street before looping back. Best viewing is anywhere along Ocean Avenue, especially Devendorf Park.
Afterwards, village shops offer trick-or-treating and fall festivities. Free.
