The Carlton Club Jazz Club has quickly become a staple, among others, in the Manchester Jazz scene, offering a lovely Sunday evening showcasing some of the best Jazz artists from the city and sometimes further afield.Zoe Kyoti brings her own flavour to well-loved jazz and blues standards, with a particular affinity to Brazilian Classics. She has appeared at Manchester, Birmingham and Southport Jazz Festivals, Buxton International Festival, Leek Blues & Americana Festival and Jazz Voices. For this gig she is joined by an awesome band of Manchester’s finest.
On Piano Andrzej Baranek known for his swinging, edgy, and inventive style, has established himself as one of the region's most in-demand jazz accompanists and ensemble leaders.
Rick Weedon is a drummer for various high-profile jazz ensembles including appearing on British jazz flautist Chip Wickham’s acclaimed studio album Blue To Red.
Ed Kainyek who’s expressive, earthy saxophone style is heavily influenced by jazz icons such as Dexter Gordon, Charlie Parker, Joe Henderson, Phil Woods, and Grover Washington.
And Gavin Barras on double bass has performed at sold-out venues including Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, Stoller Hall, The Barbican and Union Chapel. Internationally appearing at the Joy of Jazz Festival (South Africa), Uber Jazz (Germany), Pori Jazz Festival (Finland) and Liège Jazz Festival (Belgium).
