Ahead of Carlisle’s spectacular Annual Fire Show, dancers, families, friends, schools, businesses and community groups will come together to bring an iconic Halloween dance to life—en masse!
Following the fantastic community response to Wuthering Heights Carlisle, BIG THRILL is Dance Ahead CIC’s next city-centre participation event—and everyone is invited.

GETTING INVOLVED IS SIMPLE:
1. Register online.
2. Learn the moves—or learn the parts you can and freestyle the rest!
3. Join our rehearsal opportunities.
4. Perform with the community in Carlisle city centre.
5. Continue your Halloween celebrations into the night!
No professional dance experience is needed. Halloween fancy dress is encouraged but completely optional—although this is an excellent opportunity to channel your inner zombie!

WHY REGISTRATIONS MATTER
Dance Ahead is a Community Interest Company. BIG THRILL is currently being developed through participant registrations and sponsorship rather than external grant funding. Every booking and offer of support genuinely helps determine the scale of what we can deliver.
This first BIG THRILL is a pilot: an opportunity to discover the appetite for large-scale community dance in Carlisle and begin building something that could grow in future years.
Positive ideas and offers of voluntary support are warmly welcomed. If you represent a community group or charity, please get in touch and tell us how you would like to collaborate.
