Colors of the Diaspora returns for another evening celebrating African and Caribbean heritage through art, food, music, and community. If you joined us last year, you know the painting was only part of the experience!
Presented by Margaret’s Legacy Events & Experiences for Central Florida Caribbean Connection, in collaboration with Three Masks, this is your invitation to get creative, meet new people, and enjoy a night where the music might have you putting down your paintbrush to dance.
Surrounded by the African art, masks, statues, and cultural treasures of Three Masks, you’ll create your own masterpiece with Timothy “Bushman #1” Adebule, owner of Three Masks. Originally from Nigeria, Tim brings his love of African culture into an instructor-led painting session that welcomes every skill level. No painting experience needed—all materials are included!
Enjoy food included with your ticket, bring your favorite bottle, and let live DJ/MC Monsieur Roro keep the energy flowing with soca, reggae, konpa, Afrobeats, and more. An interactive performance by an African dancer will bring even more movement and culture into the evening—and invite you to join in!
