🔧 Career Tech Kids Day is BACK! 🩺🔨⚙️Give your child a chance to discover, create and explore at Pickaway-Ross Career & Technology Center!

Career Tech Kids Day (CTKD) gives kids a hands-on look at exciting careers. With the help of our instructors and students, participants will get to explore our programs, try new skills and experience career-tech education for themselves!
What does Career Tech Kids Day look like?
Past Career Tech Kids have had the chance to:
🔎 Become archaeologists during a mock excavation
🧪 Make glowing experiments and test tube lava lamps
🔨 Build and race their own derby cars
🌱 Create terrariums and birdhouses to take home
💇 Step into the salon as a top stylist
🩺 Explore healthcare with a life-size game of Operation
🐾 Discover careers as a veterinary assistant
🚔 Investigate a mock crime scene with Law & Public Safety
🌿 Explore nature and learn how to Leave No Trace
🦫 And much more!
Those are just examples from previous years, and we're working on a new lineup of hands-on sessions for this year's Career Tech Kids Day!
Each Career Tech Kid will choose three different 45-minute sessions and rotate through them throughout the morning. Our staff and students will guide participants from session to session, with a short activity in the commons between rotations.
After a busy morning of exploring, we’ll wrap up the day with lunch from noon–12:30 p.m..
