About this Event
For women in technology and those pursuing technology careers in the private sector or the State of California.
A practical, hands-on career workshop for women in technology preparing for private-sector and State of California opportunities. Work on your resume and applications, learn what employers look for, and practice interview skills with feedback you can use right away.
The Sacramento chapter of Latinas in Tech, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Mexico, is hosting Career Ready, a workshop designed to help you feel more prepared for the next step in your career.
We'll cover resume and application strategy for private-sector and State of California opportunities, followed by a networking break and practical interview preparation. Speakers from CalHR and the iFish Group will help lead the conversations.
The second half is interactive. Selected volunteers will take part in short live practice interviews and receive immediate feedback, while everyone else learns from the questions and the coaching.
When you register, we'll also ask what gives you the most trouble in interviews. We'll use those answers to shape the practice portion of the workshop, so the program covers what attendees need most.
Come ready to connect, learn, and take your next career step.
