Connect with Local Employers at This Year’s Career Fair!Looking for work or exploring new career options? Join us at the upcoming WorkBC Courtenay Career Fair on Wednesday, October 21 from 1 to 4 PM at the Florence Filberg Centre.
This free, in-person event brings together over 25 local employers from industries like retail, tourism, finance, industry, non-profits and more. Whether you're actively job hunting or just curious about what's out there, this is a great chance to meet face-to-face with employers, ask questions and learn about current job opportunities.
The Career Fair is designed to be welcoming, inclusive, and accessible for all community members. We encourage job seekers to bring updated copies of their résumé and come ready to connect. Need to prepare? Access WorkBC Centre Courtenay for resources to update your resume, attend jobseeker workshops and speak to an employment counsellor.
In addition to employer booths, attendees can discover community programs, local services, and career resources. And don’t miss out on your chance to win a great door prize, generously donated by Mount Washington Alpine Resort.
Admission is free—drop by, explore your options, and grow your network.
