Description of ride:
Fire up your bike and join us for a scenic ride to Rescue, VA. This route features some of the region’s best backroads, countryside, waterfront views, and a ferry crossing, offering plenty of smooth pavement and enjoyable riding.
We'll make our second meetup stop at the Wawa in Grafton around 9:00 AM (traffic permitting) to pick up our Peninsula riders before continuing the journey. Once we pass through the Hayes and Gloucester areas, we'll leave the traffic behind and settle into a relaxed cruise through small towns, farmland, and coastal scenery.
Our destination is Captain Chuck-A-Mucks, a popular waterfront restaurant on Jones Creek in Rescue, known for its friendly atmosphere, fresh seafood, and local charm.
We plan to arrive around 12:45 PM for lunch, giving everyone time to relax, enjoy the view, and share a meal together. After lunch, a group will ride back toward the Southside Virginia Beach area, and all are welcome to join the return ride.
So top off your tank, give your bike a quick once-over, and come enjoy a great day of riding, good food, and even better company.
