He Held the Line on January 6th. Now He's Coming to Wisconsin to Do It Again.U.S. Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn stood between a violent mob and the heart of American democracy. He was called slurs, threatened, and beaten — and he didn't move. Now he's bringing that same fight to Wisconsin, because it isn't over here either.
Date: Wednesday, October 14th Time: 10:00am Location: Milwaukee City Hall, 200 E. Wells St., Milwaukee, WI 53202
Harry Dunn is joining citizens of Milwaukee for a powerful conversation about what it really means to defend democracy — and why that fight isn't over. Because right here at home, we have elected officials who still won't say the 2020 election was legitimate. Who voted against certifying the results. This isn't ancient history — it's who's representing us right now.
Harry Dunn knows exactly what election denial costs. He's lived it. And he's not backing down — and neither should we.
This event kicks off our No Kings: Vote Early weekend — three days of action in to protect this election and get Wisconsin voting early, building to the national Day of Election Action on October 17th.
This event is for anyone who believes the truth about January 6th still matters, that accountability isn't optional, and that democracy is worth showing up for.
Come ready to: Hear directly from a Capitol Police officer who lived through the insurrection Learn what election denialism looks like when it shows up in your own backyard Connect with neighbors who are ready to do something about it RSVP now to be the first to know, and to help us gauge turnout for the room we book.
This is going to be powerful and inspiring. Don't miss it.
