As the days grow shorter and the nights grow colder, Cantus Novus brightens the season with their December concert, “Carrying the Light.” Angels sing, stars shine with promise, and even in the longest night of the year, we remember the light within each one of us. The program spans centuries, languages, nations, and styles, from the masterful Baroque polyphony of Italy and Germany to sturdy Sacred Harp melodies and introspective modern carols. Bring your heart, with its light and its shadow. Join Cantus Novus and Artistic Director Nicole Aldrich in discovering the beauty of all that we carry this season.
