About the Facilitators
Kirsten Fargas
Kirsten (she/they) is a queer, Filipina LA-native, working to make wellness accessible. Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), she leads FLOWSTATE ASL, a non-profit organization that hosts Deaf wellness events, including signed yoga, Deaf-led sound baths, and socials. She teaches weekly breathwork classes and sound bath sessions, supports the Yoga Nest Venice marketing and community growth efforts, and also hosts a monthly 42O-enhanced event, Cannabliss. Her practice centers around inclusion, accessibility, and deep connection.
Mary Lou Di Muro
Growing up, taking dancing lessons at a very early age, Mary Lou began her passion and love for dance. Classical ballet was her focus into adulthood. From there, she became a part of the fitness craze and was a trainer all over the country. She always dreamed of living at the beach and moved to the Peninsula 12 years ago. She found the Nest and from the first day walking into the studio, knew she had found a community and home to further her yoga journey. She reopened the studio mid pandemic bringing the community back to this special space. Now, the Yoga Nest Venice is thriving welcoming all to the joy of Yoga.
Stephanie Hintz
Stephanie is a yoga teacher and somatic guide who believes healing begins when we feel safe enough to come home to our bodies, indulging in our sensory experience. With a background in social work and community health education, her teaching weaves together mindful movement, nervous-system awareness, and gentle self-inquiry to create a grounded, supportive practice.
Yoga became a space where her passion for healing, embodiment, and connection converged—less about striving or perfection, and more about presence, trust, and self-compassion. In her classes, students are invited to move intuitively, listen inward, and meet themselves exactly where they are.
Expect a practice that feels spacious, nurturing, and quietly empowering. Whether you’re new to yoga or returning after time away, Stephanie’s intention is to help you feel more at ease in your body and more connected to your inner wisdom.
Outside the studio, you'll likely find her exploring LA's wellness scene, reading, or enjoying local coffee shops. Her favorite part of teaching is witnessing people reconnect with what they already carry within.
