Your cozy fall plans are officially handled.Join us at Romney Brown Candle Company in downtown Grayslake, Illinois on Friday, November 13 from 6:00–8:00 PM for Candles & Cannolis: Fall Edition, a special collaboration event combining two of our favorite things: custom candle making and delicious cannolis.
EVENT DETAILS
Friday, November 13 6:00–8:00 PM
Romney Brown Candle Company Downtown Grayslake, Illinois
$40 per person All ages welcome
Advance tickets required
During the evening, you’ll experience our fully customizable candle making process and create a candle that is completely your own.
You’ll start by exploring our collection of 150+ fragrances to find your favorites and create a custom scent blend. With so many fragrances to choose from, your candle can be cozy, sweet, fresh, fruity, woodsy, clean, masculine, bakery-inspired, seasonal, or something completely unexpected.
Once you’ve created your fragrance blend, we’ll walk you through the process of making your candle using our clean coconut soy wax. No candle making experience is necessary — seriously. Our team will guide you through the entire process from start to finish, so all you need to do is come ready to have fun and create something you love.
And then comes the cannoli part.
After pouring your candle, you’ll get to build the perfect cannoli, with traditional options along with a special seasonal flavor. It’s basically dessert and a DIY experience rolled into one very good night.
Your $40 ticket includes your custom candle making experience and cannoli experience during this special two-hour event.
THE PERFECT FALL NIGHT OUT IN GRAYSLAKE
Candles & Cannolis is perfect for date nights, girls’ nights, friend groups, family outings, birthdays, celebrations, mother-daughter nights, or simply getting out of the house and trying something different.
If you’ve been searching for things to do in Illinois, fall activities in Lake County, date night ideas in the Chicago suburbs, candle making in Grayslake, DIY experiences, or a fun day trip from Chicago, this is your excuse to come spend the evening with us.
And yes — all ages are welcome. You do not need any previous candle making experience to participate.
PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME
This is a scheduled specialty event running from 6:00–8:00 PM, and we ask all guests to arrive on time so you can enjoy the full experience.
Our team coordinates the evening around the event schedule, including candle making, fragrance selection, seating, staffing, and the cannoli portion of the event.
Please give yourself enough time for traffic, parking, weather, and finding the shop, especially if you’re traveling to Grayslake from outside the area.
Guests who arrive late may receive a shortened experience, and we cannot guarantee that the complete event experience can be provided to guests who arrive significantly late.
TICKETS & LIMITED SEATING
Tickets are $40 per person, and advance ticket purchase is required.
This is a limited-capacity collaboration event, which means your ticket is reserving a specific seat for you on Friday, November 13 from 6:00–8:00 PM.
Our specialty events can fill quickly, so we recommend purchasing your tickets as soon as you know you’d like to attend.
Before completing your purchase, please make sure you have selected the correct date and number of tickets and that everyone in your party is available to attend.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ OUR NO-REFUND POLICY BEFORE PURCHASING
ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
By purchasing a ticket for Candles & Cannolis, you acknowledge and agree to our no-refund policy.
Romney Brown Candle Company is a small business, and specialty events like this require significant planning before you ever walk through our doors.
We schedule and pay our staff according to the number of tickets sold. We reserve seating, prepare candle making materials, coordinate supplies and ingredients, plan with our collaborating vendor, and make additional event-specific preparations based on the number of guests registered.
Many of these expenses and preparations happen before the event and cannot be recovered if a guest cancels or does not attend.
Because of this, tickets are non-refundable under all circumstances.
This includes illness, work schedule changes, childcare issues, transportation problems, traffic, weather, travel delays, emergencies, accidentally purchasing the wrong date, scheduling conflicts, changes in plans, a member of your party being unable to attend, forgetting about the event, arriving too late to participate, or simply changing your mind.
We completely understand that unexpected things happen. However, because we are a small business hosting a limited-capacity specialty event, we cannot absorb the staffing, food, supplies, preparation, and planning costs associated with cancellations or no-shows.
Our no-refund policy applies equally to all ticket holders.
Unless Romney Brown Candle Company announces that the event itself has been canceled, guests should plan for the event to take place as scheduled.
Please double-check your schedule before purchasing.
By completing your purchase, you confirm that you have reviewed the event date and time and understand and agree that your ticket is final and non-refundable under any circumstances.
