Join us for our Candlelight Vigil and Survivor Speak out for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This vigil is for anyone who has been impacted by intimate partner violence. This is a space for acknowledging the harm that IPV has on individuals and families, while also finding community and building resilience in sharing experiences. We will have advocates from Steps there to provide emotional support if needed.
Info:
The vigil will begin with a march down Church Street. We will meet at the Unitarian Universalist Church at the top of Church St. at 5pm. We will march down Church St. to City Hall and the vigil and survivor speak out will be held in the Contois Auditorium.
Share your story for the Survivor Speakout:
There is power in sharing your story, but we understand safety can be a concern for many survivors. Share your story anonymously through our website at stepsvt.org/shareyourstory to be read by one of our advocates at the vigil.
