About this Event
Dolores Huerta dedicated her life to the dignity, rights, and well-being of farmworkers, all humans, and our more than human relatives. She epitomized the spirit of Loving Justice that RCNV aspires to cultivate—inspiring courage in generations of families and advocates. She accomplished so much for so many, that people in power today are working to undo. Let's honor her legacy by continuing where she left off.
We'll gather in her memory on Saturday, November 7 and recommit to the cause she gave her life to. As journalist Maria Hinojosa reminds us, Dolores "loved life"—and she showed us that people can grow, openly evolving her views on feminism, reproductive rights, and LGBTQ+ equality, and never stopping her fight for justice. Through it all, she carried a fierce hope and an unshakable faith in the power of ordinary people to change the world.
Join us as we come together to share memories and love for Dolores, send prayers to her family, and take up her lifelong rallying cry, ¡Sí, se puede!
