About this Event
Michele Williams was convicted of murdering her husband, Greg Williams, in their Keller, Texas, home in October 2011. She initially told police that a masked intruder broke into the house and shot Greg while he slept, but investigators found no evidence of a break-in and uncovered inconsistencies in her story. Michele later changed her account, claiming Greg had died by suicide and that she staged the scene to protect their daughter from the truth. Prosecutors argued she killed Greg and attempted to cover up the crime by altering the scene. In 2014, a jury found her guilty of M**der and tampering with evidence, and she was sentenced to 60 years in Pr*son for M**der, plus a concurrent 10-year sentence for evidence tampering. The case gained national attention because of its conflicting stories, forensic evidence, and extensive media coverage.
