About this Event
ARTITUTE presents CANCEL CULTURE: A Juried Exhibition 2026, bringing together 24 artists exploring ideas of erasure, memory, identity, visibility, obsolescence, displacement and the things we choose to remember or forget.
In a culture where people, places, histories, identities and ideas can be overlooked, rejected or rendered invisible, CANCEL CULTURE asks us to consider what gets cancelled, what remains, and who gets to decide.
24 selected works by different artists offer different perspectives on personal memory, social change, identity, relationships, heritage, environment and the everyday experiences of being seen or forgotten.
The exhibition brings together works selected by a five-member jury:
Adeline Kueh, Chow & Lin, Hazel Lim, Priscilla Quek and Suzanna Low
