About this Event
The Next Best Comic Search Finals bring together the top emerging stand-up comics from across Canada for one high-stakes night of comedy.
Nearly 1,000 comedians enter the national competition across 10 Canadian cities, with comics competing through regional showcases across the country for a chance to reach the Festival stage. The finalists represent the best of that search: sharp, hungry, original performers ready to prove they belong on the next level.
At stake is more than bragging rights. Winners earn coveted opening slots for Festival headliners, putting them in front of major audiences and industry attention.
