🔥 BARTLETT FLATS CAMPING KICKOFF — NOVEMBER 5–8 🔥
Just in time for the October hangovers to finally subside… it’s time to start preparing for November’s questionable life choices. 😂
We’re kicking off this year’s camping season at Bartlett Flats, November 5–8 — or whichever days work for you; 21+ as usual unless you’ve spoken to one of the hosts.
Expect music, stories, games, ridiculous amounts of laughter, food, more food, breakfast, paddle boarding, and memories made around an always-burning fire with the water just steps away. Basically, everything we need to temporarily forget our responsibilities…
📍 The phenomenal waterfront real estate coordinates will be provided in the chat once you confirm you’re interested in camping. We’re protecting our prime real estate from the general public. 😂
🏕️ “Do I have to be there the entire time?”
Absolutely not.
Come for a night, come for the weekend, come whenever you can. Personally, I like getting there a few days early so I can dig a proper fire pit and rake the area for those lovely little summertime surprises — rocks, glass, and anything else someone apparently decided belonged in the dirt. 😑😂
🎒 “Okay, so what do I need to bring?”
Your camping essentials:
• Food
• Water
• Adult beverages of your choosing 🍻
• Tent
• Air mattress
• Sleeping bag
• Warm clothes for the evenings
• Ice chest + ICE
• Paddle board
• Personal necessities for “freshening up” and “bathroom activities”
• And whatever else keeps you comfortable and happy
• Chair(s)
• FIREWOOD
Don’t own something you need? ASK!
If you’re uncomfortable asking in the group, reach out privately to one of us hosts. We’d much rather loan you something than have you show up trying to sleep on a sweatshirt and use a water bottle as a pillow. 😂
❤️ And most importantly…
This year isn’t just about camping. It’s about relationships.
As adults, life gets complicated. People have disagreements. Feelings get hurt. Sometimes we carry old frustrations way longer than we probably should.
So this year, let’s leave some of that turmoil at home.
Come meet the people you never thought you’d be sitting around a fire with — the ones you never imagined you’d be drinking coffee with in the morning, sharing a hot dog with at lunch, or laughing with until your stomach hurts.
The Year of the Fire Horse may need to continue burning and eventually go straight to hell 🔥🐎😂 — but that doesn’t mean we have to change who we are to make everyone else comfortable.
It means recognizing that life is actually pretty damn beautiful… and sometimes the people in it are too.
So bring your tent, your food, your paddle board, your sense of humor, and maybe a little forgiveness.
