CAMPFIRE presents: Josh Kleyman | October 11, 6-7:30p at the Virginian Saloon A priest and a rabbi walk into a bar… For real. On Sunday, October 11, CAMPFIRE welcomes Rabbi Josh Kleyman of the Jackson Hole Jewish Community for a heart-forward conversation about the work of embodying love and liberation in a world torn by fear and strife. Hosted by Jimmy Bartz and Travis Helms, priests serving at St. John’s Episcopal Church.
Josh, Jimmy and Travis will draw on their friendship to lead us in an exploration of the deep wisdom and beauty that undergird and are woven into traditions within Judaism and Christianity, and particularly its mystical strains. We’ll explore the ways in which what unite us — as people seeking connection with divine reality and one another — are more important than what divides us; and how community can blossom and flourish amongst, and perhaps even because of, our differences and beautiful uniqueness.
We hope that you can join us. All are welcome, always.
Bio: Josh Kleyman is a teacher and Director of Bet Sefer, a mentor of Jackson Hole Jewish Community youth as they become B’nei Mitzvah, a baker of challah, and a co-facilitator of services, holidays, life cycle events, and Torah study. He has lived in the valley since 2006 and feels blessed daily to be raising his family with his beloved, Kalen, and the Jackson Hole Jewish Community.
