The Campbelltown Writer's Group is a fortnightly in person creative writing group held at Campbelltown Library during the school term for people who live, work or study in Campbelltown.
Led by a published local author, this group is designed especially for developing writers who want to strengthen their craft, explore new ideas, and gain confidence through regular practice and feedback.
Each session offers the chance to workshop writing, respond to prompts, discuss creative techniques and share work in progress with fellow writers.
This term, participants will focus on developing submissions for the 2026 Fisher's Ghost Writing Prize, marking 200 years of the Fisher's Ghost story. With the theme Years in the Making, it is the ideal time to refine a piece and take part in a much loved local writing tradition.
To encourage meaningful discussion and better group engagement, places are very limited so the group can stay small, focused, and supportive.
