From Friday 9th October to Sunday 25th October, Camden Market will celebrate some of Camden’s iconic black creatives, artists and cultural pioneers. This exhibition will bring their portraits, work and stories into the spotlight; honouring the people who have shaped Camden’s creative identity, community, and cultural legacy.
'Our People, Our Spirit, Our Stories' will take visitors on a journey through Camden Market, indoor and outdoor. QR codes will link to the Camden Market website for additional information about our chosen legends and their stories. We will celebrate icons past and current such as Normski, Jazzie B, Una Marson, and Beryl Gilroy, to name a few….
