On Sunday, October 18, Calvary will gather after services for an all-church picnic. The Trustees are grilling, and we're asking folks to bring a side dish or dessert to share. We're also putting together a new church directory, and Helen Alexander will be there with her camera to take photos. You don't have to be a member to be included. Friends of the church are welcome too. A photograph can help turn a familiar face into a conversation.
While we're together, we'll assemble school kits for students. There is something hopeful about a group of people working around a table, each doing a small part that adds up to help for someone else.
Bring your appetite, get your picture taken and lend a hand. All are welcome here.
