About this Event
We are inviting you to come, see and feel this space whilst finding out more about the Carer Gateway and how the Carer Gateway supports unpaid Carers.
As a Service Provider you would come accross family members or friends of your clients who assist your client with day to day living ,& are unpaid for the support they give. You may feel at a loss as to how to support these wonderful Carers, who do so much whilst balancing their own needs and responsibilities.
The Carer Gateway is for the often unseen Carers, these are parents, siblings, friends, Uncles, Aunties, cousins and more....they are often at a loss for time out , patience and maybe highly stressed .
The Carers Hub at Campbelltown is a special space created under the National Carers Strategy for Carers to have some time out when they have a spare moment. They can get some advice or just do a peer group type of activity plus more.
This is a free service you can offer the unpaid Carers of your clients. So come along, have a cuppa and find out more, we look forward to meeting you.
