The call is OPEN for Region 8x8! 🎨The Northeast Louisiana Arts Council is once again filling our gallery walls with original 8" × 8" works from artists across the 12 parishes of Region 8 - from established and emerging artists to the next generation of regional creatives.
And new this year: we’re opening the call to 8th-grade artists!
WHO CAN ENTER?
Adult artists may submit up to 3 original works.
Student artists in grades 8–12 may submit 1 original work.
Participation is FREE.
All finished works must measure exactly 8" × 8", including any frame, mat or border, and must meet the exhibition's hanging and submission requirements. Works will be exhibited anonymously and offered for sale for $64 each, with 70% of each sale going directly to the artist.
ARTWORK DROP-OFF | NOVEMBER 9–12, 2026
All artwork must be hand-delivered to the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council at 118 Cotton Street in West Monroe during the November 9–12 drop-off window.
Artists MUST contact the Arts Council in advance to schedule their individual drop-off day, and time based on staff availability.
Before creating or submitting your work, please visit the Region 8x8 webpage and read the complete, updated 2026 submission guidelines. This year's requirements have changed, so returning artists should review them carefully.
