California: Coast to Foothills
California wine goes far beyond the usual suspects. Join us at Burgunbarrel for a four-wine tasting exploring different regions, varietals, and styles of California wine — beginning bright and refreshing and finishing with a bottle we’ve been holding onto for the right occasion.
The lineup includes Star Lane Sauvignon Blanc, T. Berkley Cabernet Franc Rosé, J Dusi Model M Red Blend, and 2018 Andis ENOR.
The final pour is what makes this tasting particularly special. Our 2018 ENOR is an aged Rhône-style blend from California’s Sierra Foothills, and we have only four bottles remaining. Rather than simply letting the last few bottles disappear from the shelf, we wanted to open them and give our guests an opportunity to experience this wine together.
We’ll taste from crisp Sauvignon Blanc into rosé, continue with a Paso Robles red blend, and finish with the aged ENOR as the centerpiece of the flight.
