About this Event
Crunchy leaves. Spiced cider. Chunky sweaters. Pumpkin everything. Calico will once again celebrate the changing of the seasons with its 6th Annual Late Harvest Festival on Sunday, October 11 from 1pm to 9 p.m.
For the sixth year, the urban backyard in Blagden Alley once again hosts its welcome party for cooler weather, with a free-to-attend Sunday afternoon fall fest complete with pumpkin painting, live music from 3-6pm, fried apple hand pies, maple old fashioneds, hard cider spritzes, autumnal fare and more festive seasonal fun. Adults 21 and over can also enjoy complimentary cider tastings from 2 to 6 p.m.
There’s no need to head to the pumpkin patch this season. Guests can pick their very own pumpkins from Calico’s pop-up patch and decorate them with complimentary painting supplies.
Throughout the afternoon, live acoustic music will provide the soundtrack to the festivities, while a festive photo area inside Calico’s antique greenhouse will be transformed with fall foliage, pumpkins and cornstalks, creating a seasonal backdrop for photos.
And the gourd fun doesn’t end on October 11. Calico will host additional pumpkin picking and painting parties on Sundays, October 18 and 25, giving guests more opportunities to embrace the season in the urban backyard.
Calico’s 6th Annual Late Harvest Festival is free to attend and open to the public, with all pumpkins, food and beverage sold a la carte.
